  <p>Information: James Arnold ""Jim"" Bryant, 74, of Ripley, died May 9, 1992, at Dawson of an apparent heart attack.  He was a retired employee from Kaiser Aluminum and an Army veteran of World War II.  He was a member of VFW, American Legion and Epworth United Methodist Church, all of Ripley.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge 16, Dowell Commandery 28, Knights Templar and Jackson Chapter 48 Royal Arch Masons.  Surviving:  wife, Ruth Holland Bryant; daughter, Arlene Parsons of Washington; brother, Ray of Dawson; two granddaughters.  Service will be 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Smathers Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Charles Echols officiating.  Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.</p>
