  <p>Information: James Scott Browning, 91, of West Hamlin, died Wednesday at home after a long illness.  He was the father of Jerry O. Browning of Ravenswood.  He was a retired employee of Union Carbide and was a member of the Pleasant HIll Baptist Church in West Hamlin.  He is also survived by his wife, Priscella Browning; additional sons, Everett M. Browning of Milton, John T. Browning of Spanaway, Wash, James W. Browning of Griffithsville, Eugene H. Browning of Alamogordo, N. Mex.; daughters, Dolly M. Davis of Kentucky, Thelma A. Browning of West Hamlin, Imogene Koehn of Cleveland, O.; brother, Hershel Browning of Hurricane; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.  A service was held at 2 p.m. Friday in Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin with the Rev. Lawrence Dailey officiating.  Burial was in Browning Cemetery, Rt. 1, West Hamlin.</p>
