Information: Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley for William G. Brown, 86, of Rt. 1, Given, Jackson County, who died yesterday morning following an extended illness.  Burial will be in Brown Cemetery at Given.  He was born Oct. 9, 1880, son of the late William M. and Sarah Bumgardner Brown.  He was a retired farmer and the last surviving member of his immediate family.  Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley.
