Information: Okey J. Brown, son of Henry and Melissa Stewart Brown, was born at Buffalo, now Marshall, on Feb. 16, 1872 and departed this life at his home near Liverpool, Jackson Co., Nov. 21, 1939, at the age 66 years, 9 months and 5 days.  In the year 1900 he was united in marriage to Emma J. Parrish, who preceded him in death 19 years ago.  To this union three children were born, Mrs. Hubert Francis of Duncan, Mrs. Emmett Barnette of Leroy and Henry, at home.  He was later united in marriage to Eva Simmons Bee.  To this union one daughter, Mary, was born.  He was laid to rest by the side of his wife in the Liverpool Cemetery by funeral director, Lawrence Ford.  [from the Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
