  <p>Information: James Brown of Kenna, died at Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division, after a long illness.  He was born on March 14, 1972, a son of James and Phyllis Southall Brown.  He was a student at Ripley Middle School and a member of Goshen Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents he is survived by one brother, Timothy, at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Brooke Brown of Kentuck; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Devona Southall of Kenna; and one great-grandmother, Mrs. Frances Atkisson of Romance.  Services were held the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. S.R. Parsons Jr. officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.</p>
