  <p>Information:       James Marlen Brown, 77, of Hurricane passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at CMAC Teays Valley Hospital.  He was born November 2, 1933, a son of the late James Albert and Mary Jane Parsons Brown.  He was retired from Tri Pro, Charleston, and a former employee of Viscose, Nitro.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hurricane and also a U.S. Navy veteran.  Surviving is his loving wife of 55 years, Estelle O. Brown; daughters, Robin S. Robinette of Hurricane and Tracy L. Brown of Jamestown, Calif.; and brother Clifford Brown of St. Albans.  Also surviving are his grandchildren Misty, Mark and Skyler; and great-grandson, Michael James.  Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at Chapman Funeral Home, 3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, with the Rev. Jerry Losh officiating  Burial will be in Emma Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Liberty, with military honors.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice-Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd., W., Charleston, WV  25312-2536. </p>
