  <p>Information: Betty Ann Holt Abshire, 79, of Ripley, passed away October 8, 2014 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born September 10, 1935 at Lang WV, a daughter of the late Thomas and Nanny White Holt.  She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James C. Abshire; son, Jim Abshire and wife Beth; daughters, Karen Anderson and husband Ronnie, and Teresa Miller and husband Joseph; sisters, Ruby Colloson and Annetta Jones.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vici Payne, four brothers and seven sisters.  Funeral service was 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Minister Doug Petty officiating.  Burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.  Friends called from 11 a.m. until  the time of the service on Friday.  Memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.waybrightfuneralhome.com.</p>
