  <p>Information: Susan Cordelia Brotherton was born November 2, 1874 and died March 3, 1935, aged 60 years, 4 months and one day.  She is survived by her husband, R. E. Brotherton of Given and one son, Cloyd Brotherton, of Millwood; two daughters, Mrs. C. R. Kay and Mrs. L. O. Casto of Dunbar.  She is also survived by one brother, J. C. Gardner of Dunbar, three sisters, Mrs. R. R. Starcher of Dunbar, Mrs. A. H. Hunter and Mrs. H. F. Brotherton of Given. Eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive. She united with the Moss Chapel M. E. church South, 30 years ago and has lived a devoted christian life to the end.  She is gone but the christian influence will live on.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. C. Nichols and interment was made in the Brotherton family cemetery.</p>
