  <p>Information: Pearl Melvin Smith, 75, of Akron, Ohio, died Monday night at the Marie Annette Nursing Home in Marietta, Ohio, after a 10-year illness.  He was born at Cottageville, Oct. 17, 1903, the son of William and Cora Trader Smith.  He was retired from Goodyear Aerospace in Akron.  Survivors include his wife, Laura Mae Smith of Akron; three sons, Melvin R. Smith, Parkersburg, Ronald E. Smith, Hartsville, Ohio, Robert L. Smith, Akron; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Yeager, Akron, Mrs. William Knotts, Hartsville, Ohio; one brother, Arthur Smith, East Liverpool, Ohio; three sisters, Flossie Brahan, Parkersburg, Mrs. Ruth Cagle, Belpre, Ohio, Mrs. Bertha Caplinger, Marietta, Ohio; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild.  Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday), 1 p.m. at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with burial at Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville.</p>
