Information: Oval William Parsons, 67, of Ripley, was dead on arrival at Jackson General Hospital yesterday (Tuesday) morning. He was born April 1, 1912, the son of the late Willie and Icy Staats Parsons. Survivors include his wife, Garnet, Ripley; one brother, George, Ripley; two sisters, Mrs. Dessie Casto, Ripley, Mrs. Tressie Young, Elkview. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, at Vail's Funeral Home with the Rev. William Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Fairplain Cemetery.
