Information: Herman H. Ledbetter, 78 of Sandyville, Jackson County died Tuesday in St. Francis Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired farmer. Surviving wife, Darlie Shields Ledbetter, son, James of Sandyville; daughters, Mrs. Frances Varner of Ravenswood, Mrs. Georgie Aschenbach of West Springfield, Mass; sister, Mrs. Minnie Maldenhauer of Detroit, Mich.; brother, Alonzo of Livingston, Tenn.; nine grandchildren. Service will be 10 a.m. Friday in Specks Funeral Home, Livingston. Burial will be in the family cemetery, Alpine, Tenn. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. today at Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood.
