Information: Gay L. Mitchell, 55 of 1371 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, Ohio died Wednesday, April 27 in Barberton. He was a resident of Barberton, O., 22 years and the owner of Mitchell Supply and Service Company. He was an army veteran of World War II. He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Sandra Adkins, Congress, Ohio, Mrs. Judy Saffel, Norton, Ohio, Mrs. Sharon Smith, Elyria, Ohio, Miss Debra Stefanko, Barberton, Ohio, Miss Tina Mitchell and Miss Lisa Mitchell both of Norton, Ohio; sons, Jack Mitchell, Dalton, Ohio, Richard and Michael Mitchell both of Norton, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Phoebe Jane Mitchell, Ripley; brothers Lawrence M., N. Manchester, Junior M., Gay, Buddy M., of Doylestown, Bubby of Arnoldsburg; sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Willis, Doylestown, Ohio, Mrs. Violet Burdette, Liverpool, Mrs. Dorothy Grady and Mrs. Annalee McCrady both of Ripley, Mrs. Barbara Freeman, Hogsett. He was preceded in death by father, Roy J. Mitchell and brother, Franklin Mitchell. Funeral services were held Friday, April 29 at the Campfield-Hickman Funeral Home in Barberton, Ohio with Rev. John T. Powell officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Kenmore, Ohio.
