Information: Rosa E. Rowley, 80 of Saline Street, Irondale, N.C. died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1993 at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, N.C. following a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 18, 1912 in Frozen Camp, W.Va., a daughter of the late Onie and Maggie Price Shields. She was retired from the Sterling China Co. and was a member of the Irondale Church of the Nazarene. Her husband, Oscar Rowley, whom she married June 6, 1928, died April 2, 1968. A son, Paul Rowley preceded her in death. Survivors include four daughters, Frances Endfinger of Delta, Ala., Irene Henthorn of Irondale, Jessie Rohall of Riverton, Wy., and Ruth Hogue of Hope Mills, N.C.; three sons Gilford Rowley of Columbus, John Rowley of Irondale and Perry Rowley of Riverton, Wy.; two sisters, Darlie Ledbetter of Sandyville, W.Va., and Eva Jones Fox of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Donald Shields of Niles; and 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The Rev. Robert Donato of the church conducted services Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Home. Burial was in the Highlandtown Cemeter.
