  <p>Information: Etta Marie Hughes Day, 94 of Ravenswood died Oct. 21, 1996 at Ravenswood Care Center, Ravenswood.  She was born at Flatwoods, WV, Jackson County, a daughter of the late Philip S. and Margaret B. Wilson Hughes.  She was a retired teacher.  She was a graduate of Salem College, Salem, WV, taught in Mason County and Jackson County for many years.  She was a member of the  Flatwoods United Methodist Church where she was the pianist and a Sunday School teacher and the Flatwoods Ladies Aide Society.  Surviving son, Hardwood M. Day of Sebring, FL., one granddaughter, Sharlene Wilson of Louisiana, one grandson, Erin Scott Day of New Martinsville, WV, 2 brothers, Wayne W. Hughes of Ravenswood, WV and Raymond E. Hughes of Ripley, WV, several nieces and nephews.  Services 11:00 a.m., Oct. 24, 1996 at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with Rev. Rodney L. McColligan officiating.  Visitation Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV.  Burial in Flatwoods Cemetery.</p>
