Information: Mrs. Pauline Carpenter Parsons, 81 of Ripley died Jan. 23, 1994 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg after a short illness. She was a retail saleswoman for Alameda's and O.J. Morrison Store, Ripley. She was a member of Mount Zion Church, Roane County. Surviving: son, J. Wayne of Ripley; brother, Lacko Carpenter of Wadsworth, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Oshel Wilson and Hazel Ashley, both of Canton, Ohio; two grandchildren, one great-grandson. Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Marshall, Roane County. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
