  <p>Information: Edgar Nolan Greathouse, 77 of Wallback, formerly of Ripley died March 22, 1995 at the Charleston Area Medical Center's Division, Charleston.  He was born in Roane County, a son of the late Calvin and Minora Noe Greathouse,  He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars, having retired after 22 years of service.  He was a member of Clay County VFW Post 4419 and was a member and deacon of Mud Fork Union Church.  Surviving are his wife, Frances Easter Greathouse; two sons, Robert Nolan Greathouse of Sissonville and Edgar Forrest Greathouse of Ripley; two daughters, Delorse Jo Garr of Ottumwa, Iowa and Blanche Louise Wright of Max Meadows, VA; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Brooks Greathouse and Amile Greathouse; three sisters, Mabel Mullens, Donna Cosby and Stella Greathouse; and one grandson.  Services 2 p.m. Saturday (today), Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, the Rev. Paul Parsons and the Rev. Okey Cottrell officiating.  Burial Jackson Memory Gardens, Cottageville with full military rites by Clay County VFW Post 4419.</p>
