  <p>Information: W. Bruce Langford, 73 of Ripley died Oct. 1, 1992 of an apparent heart attack while hunting in Malta, Mont.  He was retired from Appalachian Power Co., with 33 years' service.  He was a life member of National Rifle Association and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.  Surviving: son, Larry of Evans; daughter, Vicki Langford of Ripley; brother, Walker of Lynchburg, Va.; sisters, Katherine Woolridge of Appomattox, Va., Ellen Gilbert of Lynchburg, Hilda Wilson of Chesapeake, Va., Phyllis Woodford of Huddleston, Va., Stella Layne of Monroe, Va.; six grandchildren.  Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley with the Rev. Herman Robertson officiating.  Burial will be in Jackson Memory Gardens, Cottageville,  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.</p>
