Information: Orville James Godbey, 80 of Ripley died Feb. 13, 1996 at Jackson General Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired Army veteran. Surviving: brother, Oley of Ripley; half-brother, Frank Marion of Kenna; half-sister, Bernice Godbey of Lanesville, Ohio. Service will be 1 p.m. today at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley with the Rev. Herman Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Salt Hill Church Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call one hour prior to service today at the funeral home.
