  <p>Information: Lindsay Palmer, 78 of Sandyville died April 6, 1996 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley.  He was a World War II Army veteran, retired from Kaiser Aluminum and a resident of Ravenswood Village Nursing Home.  He was a member of Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church.  Surviving: wife, Helen Metz Palmer; son, Roger Cain of Mineral Wells; daughter, Dawn Beckner of Parkersburg; sisters, Zora Kittle of Parkersburg, Pauline Somerville of Palestine, Virginia Balis of Sandyville; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.  Friends may call Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley.  Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Mount Pisgah Cemetery, Palestine.</p>
