  <p>Information: Dewey S. Ramsey, 78 of Ripley died Dec. 20 in Jackson General Hospital after a long illness.  He was a retired farmer.  Surviving: sons, Calvin Ramsey, Raymond Ramsey, Arthur Ramsey and David Friend all of Ripley, Denver of Statts Mill, Richard Ramsey of Calif.; daughters, Ada Scarberry of Ripley, Mary Frazier of Ravenswood; brothers, Doyle G. Ramsey and George Curtis Ramsey both of Ripley; sisters, Ella Crane of Logan, Idreas Ramsey of Ripley, Wanda Burton of Vienna; 44 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.  Service was Thursday in Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley with the Rev. Forest Garnes officiating.  Burial was in Morgan Cemetery, Ripley.</p>
