  <p>Information: Betty Lou Rhodes Richards, 56 of Ripley died May 1, 1992 at Memorial Hospital, Kanawha City, after an extended illness.  She was born in Roane County, a daughter of the late Elihue and Blanche Rhodes.  She was a lifelong homemaker and a Protestant by faith.  She is survived by three sons, Eugene C. Richards of Hernando, MS, Charles L. Richards of Evans and Brian Richards of Jacksonville, FL; two daughters, Betty Jean Hughes of Schenectady, NY., and Bernice Freas of Kanawha County; and one brother Bobby L. Rhodes of Ripley.  A memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family.  Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood is in charge of the arrangements.</p>
