  <p>Information: Doc Easter, 79 of Ripley died Aug. 8, 1993 at Jackson General Hospital after  an extended illness.  He was born in Ripley, a son of the late James M. and Blanche Bosworth Easter.  He was a service station attendant in the Ripley area and a member of the Salt Hill Community Church.  Surviving are his wife, Garnet Easter; three sons, Harold Lee Easter of Evans, James E. Easter and Richard Deem Easter, both of Ripley; three daughters, Loretta Kelly of Ashtabula, Ohio, Betty Smith and Connie Fields, both of Ripley; three brothers, Bus Easter and Robert Easter, both of Ripley, and Ralph Easter of Sandyville; one sister, Frances Greathouse of Virginia; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Easter and one daughter, Debbie Lynn King.  Services were held Tuesday at Salt Hill Community Church, Ripley with Rev. Donald Hinzman officiating.  Burial was in Salt Hill Cemetery.  Parsons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.</p>
