  <p>Information: Riley Bryant, 65 of Ripley formerly of Hewett, died Nov. 2, 1996 in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley after a short illness. He was a retired miner from Laurel Creek Coal Co. and a member of the UMW Local 1525.  Surviving: wife, Jane Bryant, daughters, Brenda Craddock of Hewett, Emma Allen of Mentor, Ohio, Teresa Tawney of Danville, Joyce Blevins of Lake, Pam Dempsey of Alabaster, Ala., Amanda Bryant of Ripley; stepsons, David Stowers of Ripley, Doug Stowers of Hewett; brothers, Wilburn of Hewett, Buddy of Mill Creek, Clarence of Logan; sisters, Loraine Bryant of Spencer, Sheldra Ellis of Camp Creek; 12 grandchildren.  Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Meadow Fork Freewill Baptist Church, Hewett with the Rev. Bobby Belcher officiating.  Burial will be in Ball Cemetery, Hewett.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Stevens Funeral Home, Madison.</p>
