  <p>Information: William Edgar Massey, 80 of Ravenswood, formerly of Cabin Creek died June 14, 1996 in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley after a short illness.  He was a retired coal miner from Carbon Fuel with 43 years' service.  He was a member of UMW, an Army veteran of World War II and a resident of Cabin Creek for more than 75 years.  Surviving: daughter, Judy Christian of Ravenswood; son, William "Bill" of Angleton, Texas; sisters, Maxie Keiffer of Clendenin, Virginia Ruterford of Elkview, Phyllis Hemetek of Charleston; brother, 
Charles Massey of Rainelle; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  Services were held at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel, East Bank.  Burial was at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. </p>
