Information: Funeral services were held Sunday at Hickory Grove Church, for Wilburn J. Rife, 63, of Rt. 3, who died in Jackson General Hospital Friday. The Rev. Noble Harper and the Rev. Buck Burdette officiated with burial in Jackson County Memory Gardens. Mr. Rife was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Clifton and Anna Workman Rife. He was a retired employe of Columbia Gas Co., attended the Hickory Grove Church and was a member of the IOOF. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Glenith Clark Rife; one son, Jack D. Rife of Cleveland, O.; and several nieces and nephews. Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of arrangements.
