Information: Word has been received here of the death of John C. Hickman, 89, of East Liverpool, Ohio, Oct. 31. He died in Columbiana County Hospital following a three-year illness. He was born June 4, 1887 in Gay, W. Va., the son of James and Margaret Whited Hickman. His wife, Mary Rhodes Hickman, preceded him in death in 1945. He leaves a son, Clair Hickman, of Rogers, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Jake (Mary Pauline) Foster of Erie, O.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Nov. 3 in East Liverpool with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery, Chester, W. Va.
