Information: Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Hartley, 58, of Sandyville, died Friday in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley. She was a member of Mount Hope Church in Sandyville. Surviving: husband, Orville; sons, Melvin and Ernest, both of Sandyville; brothers, Dan Simons of Sandyville, Hugh Simons of East Liverpool, Ohio, Frank of Wheeling; sister, Mrs. Georgia Whited of Seneca Lake, Ohio. Service was held Monday in Mount Hope Church of God at Sandyville with the Rev. Creel Kerns and the Rev. Donald Hinzman officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery. Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of arrangements.
