  <p>Information: FARM ACCIDENT KILLS MAN - An Evans man was killed Tuesday afternoon while raking hay at a farm on Cain Ridge 8.4 miles from Route 87 in Mason County.  Dead is James H. Barnette, 40, who was killed at approximately 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.  Although details on the accident itself were sketchy, one of the investigating Mason County Sheriff's Deputies told THE NEWS that Barnette was raking hay on hilly terrain when he apparently lost control of the tractor, which overturned and rolled over him.  The tractor then rolled on down the hill and landed on its wheels, coming back up the hill and crashing into a pole.  Grant Barnette, brother of the victim, notified the Sheriff's Department at 1:50 p.m.  The victim was taken to Pleasant Valley Hospital.  It is believed that Barnette's body will be examined by the state medical examiner.  Besides his brother, Barnette is survived by his wife, Mary and daughter, Lisa.</p>
