  <p>Information: RIPLEY-Zelma Lora Ball, 87, of Ripley, passed away peacefully at Jackson General Hospital Saturday, May 1, 2010, following a short illness.  She was born November 29, 1922, in Roane Co., a daughter to the late Foley and Ethel Whited Hart.  She was a homemaker and her passion in life was to cook for everyone she knew, and she never met a stranger.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Whited, brother, Ray Hart, sister, Aileen Casto, son Charles "Bud" Ball, daughter-in-law, Barbara Ball, and infant daughter, Carolyn Lynn Ball.  She is survived by brother, Edsel Hart (Bernice) of Coolville, Ohio; sisters, Betty Montgomery of Washington Courthouse, OH, Dollie Holland (Rev. Bob), of Mineral Wells, and Janet Allen (Paul) of Mineral Wells; daughter, Charlotte Grandon (Ronald) of Gay; and Jackie and Angie Ball of Livingston, TX; along with 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
    In according with the family's wishes, Zelma will be cremated and a memorial service held at a later time.  Waybright Funeral Home will be serving the family.</p>
