Information: Mrs. Edith Mae Smith, 69, of Liverpool Rt., died Monday at Jackson General Hospital after a short illness. She was born March 25, 1908, daughter of the late George and Jenny Bastine Painter. She was a member of Little Creek Methodist Church. Surviving husband, Clay; one son, Glen E. of Barboursville; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Vail Funeral Home with Rev. Orland Reynolds and Rev. Whipkey officiating. Burial will be in Eventide Cemetery, Spencer. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today (Wednesday)
