Information: Benjamin Franklin Conrad, 57, of Ripley, died Sept. 26, 1987, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after a long illness. He was employed by Union Carbide. He attended Ripley Tabernacle and was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving: wife, Orpha Fields Conrad; sons, Charles of Ripley, David of Charlotte, N. C.; step-sons, Mickey Good of Ripley, Robert Good of Evans, Randy Good of Millwood; brothers, Roy G. of Napier, James L. of Weston; half-brothers, James T. Clifton of Canton, Ohio, Robert M. Clifton of Grafton, Ohio; sisters, Lona Claypool, Nancy Singletan and Reva Ratliff, all of Orlando, Lue Young of Levisay, Ressie Allen and Noretta Allen, both of Cleveland, Ohio, Rosa Fisk of Jane Lew and Nina Blake of Walkersville; 10 grandchildren. Service was Monday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Orland Reynolds officiating. Burial was in Alpin Ridge Cemetery.
