  <p>Information: Luther Calvin Riggs, son of the late Charles and Mamie Dailey Riggs, was born at Sandyville, Jackson County, West Virginia, on January 22, 1916 and departed this life March 21, 1970 at the age of 54 years, 1 month and 27 days.
     He was married to Eupha Arnetta Pursley and to them the following children were born:  Wayne H. Riggs and Harold Wade Riggs of Sandyville, Rodney Lee Riggs, Beaver, Pa. and Kathleen Joy Hupp, Rochester, Pa. Eight grandchildren survive.  In addition to his mother he is survived by the following brothers and sisters, John M. Riggs and William A. Riggs, Mrs. Mary Conger, Mrs. Erma Staats and Mrs. Evelyn Pursley, all of Sandyville, Mrs. Annie Riggs, Bristol, W. Va., Mrs. Grace Rardin, Stockport, Ohio, and Mrs. Eleanor McGrew of Hometown, W. Va.
     He was a veteran of World War II and was stationed in the Panama Canal Zone much of the time.  Several years ago he joined the Methodist Church at Rockport.  His passing brings sadness to many who knew and loved him in life.</p>
