  <p>Information: Jessie Ellen Lanham Kerns, 81, of Eugene, Oregon, formerly of Romance, died July 16, 1995, at home.  She was a cook for church youth camps and was retired head cook manager for several schools in the Eugene area.  She was a former employee of Kroger in Charleston and was a member of First Baptist Church, Eugene.
     Surviving: husband, Alvin Kerns; daughters, Joan Person and Joyce Brown, both of Eugene; son, Wayne, of Eugene; sisters, Okla Dolan of Kenna, Rada Rhodes, Phyllis Gillispie and Sybil Reynolds, both of Charleston, Freida Boggess of Sisssonville, Lilly Pierson of Cambridge, Ohio, Georgia Brogan of Mount Lookout; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Service was held July 20, 1995, in First Baptist Church, Eugene.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hollow Youth Camp Scholarship Fund c/o First Baptist Church, Eugene OR.</p>
