  <p>Information: Madge Mae Cummings Hill Young, 82, of South Charleston, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 1997 at Thomas Memorial Hospital of a short illness.  She was retired from the Diamond Dept. Store.  She was a member of the First Church of God in South Charleston and the Women&#39;s Missionary Group at the church.  She was a resident of South Charleston for 42 years.  Surviving:  sons, Kermit G. Hill of Charleston and Boyd D. Hill of Sharon WV; daughters, Peggy Hoffman of St. Albans, Kay Pursley of Sandyville, and Linda Helmick of Poca; step-son, Bud Young of Sissonville; step-daughters, Colleen Garnes of Pocatalico, Parnell Hatcher of Kenna; sisters, Lorraine Hill of Ashland KY, Juanita Davis of Charleston; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.  Services were held Sunday, Sept. 7, at Keller Funeral Home in Dunbar.  Burial was held in French Cemetery.</p>
