  <p>Information: James Paul (Jack) Yates, 73, 522 32nd St., died Thursday morning in his home of an extended illness. He was born at Ripley, a son of the late James L. and Alice Prichard Yates, and was a veteran of World War I.  He attended the Methodist Church.  Surviving are three sons, J. P. Yates, Jr., Jack Edward Yates, both of Parkersburg, and Roy R. Yates of Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Chester L. Woollard, Parkersburg; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Shaver and Son funeral home conducted by the Rev. John H. Shadburn. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.</p>
