  <p>Information: Gladys Yates, 94, of Ripley, departed this life December 18, 1998 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, following a brief illness. She was born April 24, 1904 at Evans, WV, a daughter of the late John R. and Minerva Jane (Sayre) Dixon.  She was a personal care giver, a homemaker and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ravenswood.  Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Joyce Grady of Toledo, OH; daughter, Betty Roland of Bethesda MD; sister, Mary Ruble of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Fred G. Grady and Edwin Yates; sons, Bruce Norman Grady and Troy Grady; brothers, Blonda Dixon, Boyd Dixon and John Dixon; sisters, Ruth Bennett and Freda Mitter.  Service was held Monday, December 21, 1998 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with Elder Gareth Smith officiating.  Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.</p>
