  <p>Information: Funeral services for J. M. Wright, 86 years old, will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o&#39;clock from the residence and burial will be in the Walker Addition of the Ripley cemetery.  Mr. Wright, better known to many friends and acquaintances as ""Uncle Mat"", died at his home Tuesday morning at 5 o&#39;clock.  He had been ill for several days from complications due to his advanced age, and on Sunday his condition became critical.  He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. F. P. M. Pfost.  His wife, the former Katherine Walker, died about 26 years ago and his only son, Walker Wright, died in the service of his country during the World War.  He was born at Ripley and spent his entire life here and before his death held the distinction of having lived in the town a greater number of years than any other living person.
