  <p>Information: S Sgt Robert J. Workman Sr. of Cottageville WV, passed away  August 9, 2012 at his home after a long battle with Alzheimer&#39;s disease.  He was married to Carol A. King Workman for 58 years.  He was born December 16, 1931 in Logan WV, son of the late Samuel and Ollie Jonas Workman.  He retired from the United States Air Force as an Air Policeman after 20 years of honorable service, serving one tour in Vietnam from 1966-1967.  He was a member of Sandyville VFW Post 3488.  He loved to fish.         Surviving are his wife, Carol A. King Workman, Cottageville WV; daughters, Robin Lattea and her husband Bill, Cabin Creek WV and Veronica Workman, Chelyan WV; son, Robert J. Workman Jr. of Ravenswood; sisters, Mary Davis, Cindy Justice and Minnie Workman; brothers, Merle Workman, Sam Workman, Jr., and Jimmy Workman; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Laura, Margie and Martha; and brothers, Garland and Ervin Workman.  He was the backbone of his family and will be truly missed.  We love you.
