Information: Funeral services for Elias S. Woodard, 93, of Evans, who died Tuesday evening at a Pt. Pleasant Hospital were conducted Friday at the Casto Funeral Home, Evans.  He was born in Jackson county Dec. 23, 1875, a son of the late William L. and Angeline Rickard Woodard and was a member of the Mt. Moriah United Brethren Church.  Survivors include his wife, Nora; three daughters, Mrs. Georgiana Hutchison, Ripley, Mrs. Hazel Wilson, Parkersburg, and Mrs. Bernice Morrison of Evans; three sons, Henry Woodard, Streetsboro, O., Donald Woodard of Parkersburg and Woodrow Woodard of Evans; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lydia Stewart Woodard who died in 1948, two daughters and a son.   A picture of Mr. Woodard appeared in the local paper of Jan. 15, 1965, on the occasion of his 89th birthday. It stated he was a faithful attendant at his church and Sunday School before he became disabled which made it impossible.
