Information: Walter Alexander Wood, 83, of Ripley, died last Saturday in Riverside Nursing Home in St. Albans after a long illness.  He was a former pastor of the Gay E.U.B. Church.  Survivors include a son, Lawrence of Camden; daughters, Mrs. Doris Hutchinson of Clovis, N.M., Mrs. Ona Hoover of Chesapeake, Mrs. Velma Williams of St. Marys, Mrs. Beatrice Cunningham of Paden City; 14 grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.  Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gay United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clyde Brammer officiating.  Burial was in Parsons Cemetery.
