Information: Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ann Wolfe, 78 year old widow of the late Abraham Wolfe, were held from the Given United Brethren Church on Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Robert Bumgardner in charge and burial was in the Wolfe cemetery near Given.  The Vail Undertakers had charge of the arrangements for the funeral and burial.  Mrs. Wolfe died at her home at Given on Sunday.  She was a native of Jackson County, a daughter of the late Calvin and Sarah Garrett Rowley.  Her husband, Abraham Wolfe, preceded her in death a number of years ago.  Survivors include two daughters, Delpha Wolfe of Dunbar and Mrs. Clara Bush of Red House; four sons, Floyd Wolfe of Dunbar, James Wolfe of Ripley, Virgil and Parker Wolfe, both of Given; one sister, Myrtle Bush of Given and a brother Charles Rowley of Charleston, and 27 grandchildren.   (08/29/1947) Sarah Ann Rowley Wolfe was born Nov. 28, 1868, departed this life Aug. 17, 1947, aged 78-8-20, daughter of Calvin and Sarah Rowley.  She was united in marriage to Abraham Wolfe and to this union 8 children were born: Floyd, James, Virgil, Delpha, Parker and Clara survive.  She was preceded in death by her husband and two children, Lloyd and Boyd.  She leaves 27 grandchildren, 1 brother, Charles Rowley of Charleston, and one sister, Myrtle Bush of Given.  Also surviving are four step-children, Elbert Wolfe of Huntington, Minnie Fisher of Iowa and Hattie Fisher of Liberty.
