  <p>Information: LEROY - Edwin G. Wolfe, Jr., 91, of Leroy, departed this life August 16, 2011, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston WV following a brief illness.  He was born April 19, 1920 at Gay, a son of the late E. Gay and Crystal (Cook) Wolfe.  His sister, Bettie Parsons, also preceded him in death.  He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a meat cutter, merchant, builder, farmer, mechanic, and woodworker.  He enjoyed fishing and building wooden swings. He was an active member of Mill Creek Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school.         Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Virginia M. (Lowry) Wolfe; sons, John F. Wolfe of Charleston, G. Wayne Wolfe of Ripley and Joseph A. Wolfe of Given; daughters, Brenda J. Smith of Proctorville OH, Nancy J. Kessel of Beaufort SC, and Patricia G. Anderson of Ripley; sisters, Freda Wilson and Jean Thomas, both of Ripley; 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Funeral service will be 11 am, Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Mill Creek Baptist Church, Frozen Camp, with Pastor Bob Keen and the Rev. Herman Robinson officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Ripley with military honors by American Legion Post #107, Ripley.  Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm, Friday, at Casto Funeral Home in Evans.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Mill Creek Baptist Church, or the Hubbard Hospice House.  Condolences may be sent to castofh@gmail.com.</p>
