Information: OLEY WINTER DIED MONDAY - Oley M. Winter, 72, of Ripley, died Monday morning at the St. Francis Hospital in Charleston.  He had been ill of heart disease for a long time, and in recent days his condition became more serious and he was taken to the hospital.  He was born at Staats Mills on July 28, 1890 and was a son of Marion and Molly Rawling Winter.  His wife, the former Ethel .........few months ago.  Survivors include two brothers, Wayne Winter of Charleston and Dale Winter of Ripley; two sisters, Miss Mable Winter of Ripley and Mrs. Bertha Staats of Akron, and several nieces and nephews.  The funeral service will be held at the Vail Funeral Home in Ripley today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. The Rev. Vairl Winter will officiate at the service and the burial will be in the Harpold cemetery at Gay.  Mr. Winter had lived on a farm in the Staats Mill area until he moved to Ripley several years ago, but continued to spend a part of each year on the farm.  His health had been failing in recent months, and his condition had worsened considerably in recent weeks.
