  <p>Information:      LONG ILLNESS PROVES FATAL -  Mrs. H. A. Winter, (Minnie Myrtle Steward), 79-year old resident of Fairplain, died Saturday (March 4, 1961) at the Staats Hospital after a long illness.  Her condition had been serious for some time and death had been expected..  She was a member of the Methodist Church and a lifelong resident of Jackson County (Born June 19, 1881)  Surviving are seven sons, Rev. Vairl, Glenn, Ward, Criss and Harl, all of Ripley, George of Atwater, Ohio, and Ford of Baltimore, Md.; one sister, Mrs. J.J. Tucker of Toledo, Ohio, and 26 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.  The funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the Ephesus Baptist church on Grasslick with the Rev. L.E. Powers officiating and the burial with the Parsons funeral directors in charge was in the church cemetery.  .         NOTE:  Hereford H. and Myrtle Winter had 11 sons.  Nine of the 11 sons lived to be adults.  </p>
