Information: WINTER RITES AT GRASSLICK - Heart Disease is Fatal To Hereford Winter At Hospital..  Funeral arrangements for Hereford Allen Winter, 63 year old Fairplain farmer, had not been definitely set yet last night, pending the arrival of two sons who are serving in the armed forces and who are on their way for the last rites for their father.  The services are to be held at the Ephesus church at Grasslick and will possibly be some time Thursday unless the sons are delayed in their journey home.  One son, Harl Winter, is stationed at Fort MacArthur, California, and the other son, Arthur Winter, left Camp Hood, Texas, late Monday night.  Mr. Winter, a well known farmer of the Grasslick community, died in a Charleston hospital on Monday.  He had been in a critical condition for several hours before his death.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Myrtle Stewart Winter, and nine sons, Rev. Vairl Winter, Ward Winter and Christopher Winter, all of Fairplain; George Winter and Howard Winter, of Akron; Glenn Winter, of Charleston; Ford Winter of Ripley and the two sons who are serving in the army.  Also a brother, A.L. Winter, of Fairplain, and a sister, Mrs. Claudia Chancey, also of Fairplain.     NOTE:  Hereford and Myrtle and 11 sons.  Nine of the 11 sons lived to be adults.
