  <p>Information: William A. Wilson, 85, of Ripley, died Feb. 29, 1988, in Care Inn, Ripley, after a long illness.  He was a retired employee of Insul, East Palestine, Ohio.  He was also a former employee of the Jackson County Board of Education.  Surviving:  sons, Orville W. of Cottageville, Othelle V. of Lisbon, Ohio; daughter, Mrs. Frances Lanham of Williamstown; brothers, Perry and Oval, both of Ripley; sister, Mrs. Lizzie Warner of Ripley; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.  Service will be 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Harless Cook officiating.  Burial will be in Jackson Memory Gardens, Cottageville.</p>
