Information: Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Parsons Funeral Home in Ripley for Mrs. Ruth Bowman Wilson, 83, of Ripley, who died Thursday in Charleston General Hospital following an extended illness.  The Rev. Willard Carney and the Rev. D. C. Guthrie officiated with burial in the Independence Cemetery at Sandyville.  Born in Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late William and Sarah Gray Snider.  She was a member of the Prayer and Faith Tabernacle at Ripley.  Survivors includer her husband, Everett Wilson; one son, George Bowman of Ripley; and one daughter, Mrs. Beulah Barnhart of Ripley.
