  <p>Information: Virgil Thomas Williams, 62, of Ravenswood, died Tuesday in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley.  He was a native of West Virginia and was a member of the American Legion.  Mr. Williams was a World War II veteran and was a retired employe of the former State Road Commission.  Surviving:  wife, Goldie Alice Hamrick Williams; daughters, Mrs. Clara McClain of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Jo Ann Wolfe and Mrs. Helen Hart, both of Ravenswood, Miss Doris Williams of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Sandy Mills of Ravenswood; sisters, Mrs. Clara Higgins of Ravenswood, Mrs. Pauline Hardesty of Sandyville, Mrs. Ora Murray of Parkersburg; brothers, Byron and Eugene, both of Parkersburg; five grandchildren.  Service was held Friday in Chambers Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Ken Derrington officiating.  Burial was in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.</p>
