Information: BRADLEY DIES AT HOSPITAL-Manford Bradley Taken Suddenly After Two Days Illness Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Sandyville Methodist church for Manford Bradley, 49-year-old farmer of that community and the body was taken to the Fairview cemetery near Fairplain for burial. Rev. W. N. Fowler had charge of the services and Lawrence M. Ford, funeral director, of Crow Sumit, was in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Bradley died at the Kessel hospital in Ripley about eight p.m. Thursday after an illness of only two days. He had been admitted to the hospital only a short time before his death which was reported to have been caused by an obstruction of the bowels. Mr. Bradley was born at Kenna on January 13, 1893, a son of Della and Rosanna Bradley. He was a soldier in World War I and was a member of the Abels-Rayburn post of the American Legion at Ravenswood. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Dryan Bradley and seven children, Virginia Auline, Eva, Hayden, Reva, Carl, Clyde and Joseph and his father, two brothers, and two sisters.
