Information: Mrs. B. D. Williams, a well-known christian lady, wife of B. D.. Williams, Esq., died Sunday morning at 9 o'clock after being confined to her room but a few weeks.  She has been in ill health for several years, but her nearest friends were hardly prepared to think of death visiting her so soon.  She was buried yesterday in the cemetery above town after appropriate and very impressive services by Rev. Benj. Harrop of Pt. Pleasant, at Mr. Williams elegant home on Washington street.  Mrs. Williams has been an untiring worker in the Presbyterian Church for the past .. years, and was always one of the first to visit the sick and render aid, and her familiar face will be missed by nearly every household in the city.  She was laid to rest in a beautiful metallic casket, and flowers in great profusion.  After the services a bevy of nieces strew flowers from the doorway of the residence to the front gate when her remains were deposited in the hearse.  Her age was 54 years and 9 days, and she leaves a husband and a large circle of relatives and friends who can truly say: ""A face if from us gone. A voice we loved is still. A seat is vacant in our home, which never can be filled. [ Mary Kouns scrapbook]
